Trying to find a suitable plugin for use on my sites has been toxic already that I decided to create my own. Yes, I’ve been customizing templates and plugins but it has been the first time that I created one from the ground up.
So what does it do? Well, it just shows the top ten most popular posts of your blog. It requires Counterize II plugin to run because that is where the plugin gets the number of hits a particular post got. Oh yeah, there’s a lot of this kind already in the net but I needed the most simplest for my site to make the page lighter and I just don’t have time to find one (I’m very poor at finding things like this)

To install, follow the steps below :
- popular-posts.php in wp-contents\plugins
- Activate the plugin through the admin module
- insert <?php kwatog_popposts(); ?> in your sidebar
